Saint Dreux is a quirky and contemporary interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture, from the team behind specialty coffee bars Slater Street Bench, 580 Bench, and Arkhe Tekhne. Intended to be eye-catching and provide a showcase for exceptional food and coffee.
This fit-out features a futuristic spin on Japan’s sliding bamboo shoji screens in matte-black alongside soft, glowing lightbox panels luring customers in to try their offerings, which are all crafted with obsessive attention to detail.
Sourcing beautiful marble benches, rustic hand-stained recycled timber, and manufacturing bespoke lightboxes and panels, Alcon Building Group has built the entire store from the ground up to realise Arkne Tekne’s vision with the same attention to detail as Saint Druex’s finely crafted Sando.
This shop won a commendation at the Eat Drink Design Awards in 2019.
